SankyoTransportation was founded in Yokohama in 1953 with a firm belief inproviding quality transportation services in Japan. More than forty yearslater, it is still fulfilling its commitment and has expanded its servicesand locations throughout Japan, Asia and the United States.

1953
SankyoTransportation Co., Ltd. founded with its head office based in Yokohama.
1954 Shibaura office opened.
1965 Harumi office opened.
1966 Kawasaki office opened.
1967 Chiba office opened. Molasses Tanks built in Chiba.
1973 Odaiba terminal opened.
1975 Tokyo Lumber Terminal opened.
1976 Cold Storage opened in Ohi. Keiyo Terminal opened in Funabashi. Daikoku Terminal opened in Yokohama.
1980 Higashi Ohgijima Terminal opened in Kawasaki. Odaiba No. 4 warehouse opened.
1981 Odaiba No. 6 warehouse opened.
1982 Bonded area was opened on the Central Pier of Funabashi Port.
1983 The capital of the company was increased to 215 Million Yen.
1984 Coastal Traffic Division started integrated transportation in reefer containers.
1987 Aomi warehouse opened in Tokyo.
1988 Chuo-Futo warehouse opened at Central Pier in Funabashi.
1989 Seattle office opened in the U.S.A.
1991 Akanehama Terminal opened in Chiba.
1992 ClearFreight,Inc. (U.S.A.) was incorporated a member of Fujiki Group.
1993 World distribution center warehouse opened in Tokyo.
1994 Shinminato Terminal opened in Chiba.
